- My older brother Kevin died in an accident in 1976. He was 23 years old, and full of life. He loved Corvettes! He owned three of them in the short time he was here. I really struggled with his loss. I decided to buy his car, honor him through it. I immediately felt a connection to him while driving it. Kevin's friend, and local Corvette "Parts Trader" Tommy Cook, had procured the car years earlier and was familiar with it, so he suggested we put the 435 stock 3X2 set up back in the car..
