    Hey Lucky!

Bought a 99' conv. and I found out that the car was flooded. Car runs fine but have some codes that I need some help with.

Ive been trying to clear the ECS but i could only get as far as below....

    From [Body Control Module]
    select F2: Special Functions

From here it showed "unit control" and no other options so the rest from here did not come up...

    From [Special Functions]
    select F1:BCM RPO Reprogram

    From [Setup New BCM]
select US & Canada RPO V73

    From [BCM RPO Reprogram]
    hilight RPO F45 option line
    press deselect

Cleaned grounds and found lots in the drivers door boot but nothing changed.

Here are all the codes on the dash....

    28-TCS C1288 H C
    58-SDM B0026 H C and B1001 H C
    99-HVAC B0363 H C and B0441 H C
    BO-RFA NO COMM
    38-RTD NO COMM

Also the following are codes that I can clear but comes back...

    10 PCM P1652 H C
    28 TCS C1243 H and C1288 H C

Thanks for any input you can give me with these problems!

    Kind Regards,
    Shawn

I read a post in which you participated. The subject was about codes P0137 and P0157, low voltage o2 sensor. You have a grasp for the electrical issues so I joined and decided to contact you. My C5 is a 99 in body only the rest of the car is a per pus built street racer. The engine is a Lingenfelter twin turbo 427 utilizing the stock wiring and modified computers. When I got the car there was a code for o2 heater on the left rear. Changing the sensors in a vehicle with two hidden turbos is challenging to say the least. There is no room for tools let alone hands. In the process of changing all the o2 sensors I decided to put quick connect (plug's) in the rear two. Now I have a new problem. My scan tool shows that there is low voltage to both rear sensors. I was wondering what you thoughts are for this situation. These are new sensor and the only thing different in the syatem are the plugs. Thanks for taking the time to consider this.

    Lucky,
    P0410 H
    celarriviere here again..
I've replaced the air pump. I did not have anything to check the old pump against so I went ahead and installed a new one. It blows a little harder.
The vacuum operated valve functions as it should but I have a couple of questions:
1.) The vacuum to the valve does not start out full. It gradually increases over the course of about 6 seconds. Is this normal?
2 .) I understand that the "H" behind the code means the problem has been corrected. Is that so? I have cleared the P0410 H twice since the new pump install.
I feel confident the checkvalves are O.K. with the engine running there is no blow back from the exhaust and infact a little vacuum on each checkvalve.
I'm an old guy who really enjoys working on my vette. I really want to solve this problem

    Mike,

Steering lock issue resolved itself, for now. Thanks for the advice, I looked over the sticky and recall the situation from some time ago. With a manual, the GM recall does not disable the column lock motor but only reprograms the ECU to cut fuel over 2 MPH. The core problem remains.

The recommended solution for MN6 cars is to skip the recall and install the CLB. I called Corvettes of Houston...

Separately, these guys are a great resource for module rebuilding, like ABS modules and instrument clusters www.modulemaster.com Very professional, just did my Jaguar ABS unit.

Glad to hear you are working and enjoying it. I'll try and stop by later in the summer on a Monday.

    Thanks again,

    Scott

    MIke,

How's it going? I'm sitting with Ros at her chemotherapy session, all is OK thus far.

While I was killing time I came across this repo '95 Heritage

    http://janesville.craigslist.org/mcy/2037037442.html

The bank wants to clear it, would probably take under $5k for it.

Hope things are well with you. No 'Vette issues on my end.
