The videos can tell the story a bit. Look at them when you get a chance and give me your advice and suggestions, if you don't mind.

Both times I lined up, I was really racing for the win since I was on video. I wanted to cut a light and get the win. I know my RPM's were between 3000-4000rpm. I can get a slight slip out of it, but it just bites so damn hard at my low HP level. It does not slip like the ls6 or other clutches I have used. I can send you videos at HRP the week before with good track prep were the car just bogs. I would like to blame it on driver error(because there is some on my part) but this clutch is just not that forgiving on 18's. Maybe 16-17's might help out a bit. I don't know. But I feel that mid to high 1.6's is as good as it is going to get unless I change the clutch.

Yep, as you can tell by this first video, we had a nice headwind which did not help. 4th will not go in to gear after it is heated up with some passes. I have never missed 4th in a car. These passes were with 18 inch DR's, and full street weight with a high DA. I did get a 1.69 60ft at HRP, but I missed a gear. I think with 425-440rwhp(with the new cam), 1.65-1.70 60ft's are the best that I am going to get on 18 inch DR's and the Heavy spec 3 clutch. How is that spec 2 doing? This spec 3 is almost un slippable. I have managed to get the car in the 1.70-1.75 range, but I am really fighting it. Here are the 2 decent passes I made(c6 guy on the spray fell asleep! I didn't care about ET, just beating him) 4th gear would not go in on either pass, and I gave up on the second pass.

    Wedding..... what wedding

I was coming back from San Antonio with a weekend at the Family River house during 2k10. I ran 12.07, 12.10, 12.12 with full street trim, and full weight with 3/4 tank of gas and 18 inch tires. I trapped 118mph, with 1300-1500DA. BTW, don't ever run your car at SAR, it sucks!

I tried to see this race as I was coming from SA to Houston, and the track was just letting out. LMR's 1200+vette vs Ungergrounds Lambo. 60-200mph romp.

I went to the Texas mile this weekend, and UG black lambo did not run, but they beat Heffners Ford GT by 1mph, and got the record at 250mph. I got 400 HD pics, what a blast to see street cars going 200-250mph.

I need a new setup for the tires. What do you suggest? I have been begging Weld to start production of the 16 inch XP's again. The CCW's are way too expensive and are not that light.

We are heading to the track tomorrow night!(Friday, today) HMP. My number is 832-969-7005. Let me know. I've got a buddy that is pushing 500bhp in his stock motor 99 mustang. I will make a couple passes, but I can't afford to break. As you can see, I took the dive....
    http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-foru...utside-2v.html

So I will be launching off of idle. This spec 3 with the stock 90k flywheel will not allow me to really slip it. Also, my driver side is sitting 1-1.5 inches lower than the passenger side, and I can't get the jack up under the car. So between a busy day, I have to figure out if my car is safe to drive.

Keep me updated on where you are tomorrow afternoon. Brownsgym@gmail.com

Hey, Chris. I didn't mean to hijack your thread, any further than the direction it was going. Anyways, I will heading to the Texas Mile with some local guys, mostly mustang guys on local forums. I don't know most of them, just over the net, but I am buying beer and we will be cooking up some food. Let me know if you are headed down for the weekend. I would like to check out your car.

My pleasure, I need tires bad. No DR's for my car available. I'm gonna try the Pilot Sport Cups but don't think it will solve my problem. Where can I get a Drag Package that will fit my car, with the Brembo's?

Ya, I need to update all my stuff, just to busy these days. Thx again.
