- Restored my first corvette 73 convertible from spring of 2004 to summer of 2007. I then acquired another 73 convertible. The car was parked in a garage and not run in 12 years The original color was dark blue and is an L-82 with air and fully optioned. I have begun the body off restoration in 2008 and expect to complete it sometime in the winter of 2009/10. My favorite c3 is a bronze 68 or riverside gold 69 427 convertible. I got your message, and I'll keep it in mind for next year. Jim's been coming to Carlisle with me, for a few years now, but I'm not sure how much "help" he is!
He spends most of the weekend out shopping for things he can resell.
