Chunks, thanks for your inquiry. Yes, I still have them, but for the time being I’ve decided to hold onto them. I bought new tires and wheels and put them on the car right after I got it. Not sure if I want to sell them now or not. If I change my mind I will let you know and we can go from there. Thanks again!

Thanks for the info on the seats. This will be something that I may look into. It's good to get good vendor feedback and I will check VetteEssentials out.

The seat modifications weren't done by Lear Seating. The lady who owns VetteEssentials in Rochester, MI works for Lear Seating in Southfield. VetteEssentials made the new center sections for my seats using a better grade leather than stock. I brought the car to them and they removed the seats, removed the seat covers and then removed the center sections. Afterwards, they sewed in the new (Red) center sections. They had made the center sections in advance so the entire job took about 3 hours while I watched. They really know what they're doing, so I had no qualms whatsoever. They are a forum sponsor and they have an add along the sidebar near the bottom under "interiors". I had mine done in December of 07 and the entire job including the console lid costs $1060 back then. My guess is it probably wouldn't be more than $100 - 200 more now.

Do you have any more info on Lear Seating? I live in Canton and don't really care for my 1LT ebony interior. I was thinking about going with 2 tone seats. Roughly how much would replacing the seat covers cost, do you think? 1K? 2K? Thanks. I'll try to google them also.
