    Hi,

Apologies for the very slow reply. I have not checked my messages for a long time as you can see. Thanks for the positive comments on the 61. It is only an over bored 396 with a TH400 and 9 plus 9 inch. The engine is warmed over a bit so should produce good power. Your C2 roadster looks ace. Love the white and red interior. My interior is red also. Thanks for the contact.

    Regards,

    Mark.

    Hi Jarron
I was originally from Aussie but left for the states about 35 years ago. I was director of new product development for Bose for many years in the Boston area; I then moved to be Chief Technical Officer of a company that made semiconductor processing equipment. From there back to the Audio industry to be CTO of Klipsch. I retired from Klipsch and have been back in Australia about 18 months. I have had a house here in Bendigo vic for about 11 years; My wife was back here looking after her parents. I moved the 66 vert here in 99 and only got to drive it 2 weeks a year when I got back down here for Xmas. Owning a C2 in retirement is a blast lots of driving time, albeit the weather here in central vic is not as good as yours nothing is, it is still dammed good compared to Boston and the snow belt in the USA. Best of all there is no freeking salt on the roads here. Salt dust hangs around for a good while after the snow is gone. When you get over this way we will have to do the Great Ocean Road run it is a blast in the old C2, its about as much fin as you can have legally.

    Best regards Richard

    Hi Jarron
Great to hear from you and congratulations on the 2nd flight. I used to be heavily into the NCRS when I lived in the States, but when I brought the car our here in the 90s there wasnt much activity in the Melbourne area. I got into modiying the car to make it a better touring/road car. My car is fairly heavily modified at this stage, but all origial parts have been mothballed and every thing is reversable; I am trying to have it both ways.
The suspension and steering mods have produced a car that handles very well even by modern standards. I tend to drive it a lot and really enjoy it. Do you ever get over Melbourne way I would like to catch up in person.

    Best regards Richard
