    Hey DB,

Ran into a little issue with my 77, just wondering if you ran into it also. I bought the front end rebuild kit from Ecklers a while back, finally got the A-Arms sandblasted, primed and painted. I went to put the new ball joint into the A-Frame below.

The rubber boot on the ball joint will not fit through the hole. When I removed the boot, it fit fine. Checked the package and it did say it was for a 77. Did you run into this, and if so how did you get around it ???

P.S. - Glad your back. Enough said.

I have had it running but it was a little slugish and i couldnt advance it anymore, it is driving me nuts I have read the post on timing and tried everything i could think of. now i cant even get it started again. uh. I am running an hei in it when i drop the distributor in where should the rotor be pointing at when at tdc? i thought at number one cylinder and the plug wire on that post for number one. but it doesnt crank over easily like that kind of like it is to retarted. any sugestions? Nothing to worry about. Some personal issues but everything is taken care of. Thanks for the concern, and I look forward to seeing you around.

    Matt,
I was thinking about adding an amp to the vette this winter when I replace the interor. Wanna have everything all nice and new when i come to Columbia. Do you know of a small amp that I can put in the car. The old one I have on the shelf is tooo big. I need something about 9X9 to fit in the back box behind the seat. Don't have room for a sub. I do have to nice 6X9 in the box in the back and to 6X4 in the dash. All pioneer rated about 250 each.. they were new last year. Also have a pioneer head unit that I bought new last year for about 300 bucks. I don't remember which unit but it is a nice one. I did a little home work. I just want a little more punch through the speakers when I am on the road. Don't want to cut the kick pannels or anything like that. What would you suggest? Coming to St. Louis to do any Christmas Shopping? just e-mail me at
