    Good morning Don
Thank you for your response, I'm going to put your phone number in my phone.
I know the C2 Corvettes are very similar in chassis design to the C3 but there is also a tremendous amount of difference as well. Let me know what time of day would be best to call and I will try to touch base with you one day next week. I just retired on 31st day of July so virtually any time that is convenient for you is okay with me. I really appreciate your reaching out and it's always great to speak with someone who enjoys the same interests in these old corvettes.

    Good morning buddy
I was looking at your profile page and you obviously have an extensive knowledge regarding C2 Corvettes. I certainly would not want to be an imposition but would respectfully appreciate the opportunity to pick your brain from time to time.
I bought my 64 coupe last summer from a friend of mine who had owned the car for over 30 years. My friend John was midstream in a body off restoration when he suffered a heart attack and then a stroke. Upon my receipt of this automobile the body was in one location with fresh paint but still in need of wet sanding and buffing, the chassis was in another fully assembled and ready to go. My friend Frankie and I set the body on and then I had the glass front and back installed. I have a wide array of boxes including many new parts as well as many unidentified parts and presumably many missing parts.

    Hi,
We talked on the phone, 505-795-1582, on Mar 13, 2016 for about 31 minutes. You helped me understand about the door gap opening up when I put my '67 Roadster on the lift. It was obvious when we talked about it. I believe you mentioned that you made a fixture that ties into the structure, birdcage?, at the glove box. It has a beam/component connecting the soft top mounting holes, if I understood you correct. This fixture keeps the body tied together and supported when the car is off the ground. It occurred to me that we could build a similar fixture for mine as we are needing to replace the rubber bushing body mounts. If you could please email some photos of your fixture or a quick sketch of it, it would be invaluable to me to possibly simulate on my car when I lift it. I'm much obliged to you if you can offer me this or any information about your fixture. Thanks so much in advance if you can. Best Regards, Ralph Ricketts, 505-795-1582.

Don do you have any wheels for sale? After installing 65 trailing arms on 63 the spoke wire wheels I had on don't fit. Wheel spacers move the tire out to far.

Thanks for the quick answer re: bb fuel pump, the Screw suggestion is out I gather, plug under pump? I will look for it I see something, any where to your knowledge there is an article on this? so you take out the fuel pump first I assume, then through the plug you pull the pump push rod, grease it, put it back in, and then mount the pump. I also gather that this business of getting the engine to TDC is out.

No , I don't believe I got any message other than you mentioning that you had the bezel. Not sure what's going on with the other bezel. I sent the guy the 20 dollars... have not recieved the bezel yet. I am sure it's just a mail delay... Most guys on here are honest to a fault. Sorry I am so long getting back to you... I don't look under my messages on this forum very often. Send me an Email again or make a comment on my facebook "Barrie's TEXACO" If I don't get my bezel... I might take you up on yours. Thanks, Barrie McIsaac.
