    Hey Bub,
that sounds like a plan, I work offshore and I will be home in 3 days (Friday) and I'm off for 2 weeks so drop me a line whenever you can break free ok, I've got a couple of other friends of mine that have some nice cars too and they always enjoy getting out.

Lowering, I would start by lowering it on the stock bolts first, after the initial task you will have to drive the car to get it to settle, it may take a little time, if you see it's not low enough for you then you can cut the bushings and or completely remove the front bolts and add longer than stock rear bolts, there are tons of threads on this, as far as power goes, what are your long term goals, are you going to race it or is it going to be your daily driver and you just want to add some get up and go, if the latter is more the case you can install an ls6 intake with a black wing air filter and some long tube headers and a cat back and you will be in bussiness, I would just do a mail order tune once you do your basic and it will run great, of course the skies the limit when it comes to power.

Hey, no problem at all, I am running 18 front 19 rear in standard c5 offsets that the rims come in (TSW Nurburgring) with 305/30/19 rear and 265/35/18 front, there is not any issues as far as clearance.
