Dave, thanks again for helping me with my 1977 HW Vacuum Switch. Looking forward to using it and any potential affect you may have on the C3 market in the future. It’s hard to find good help on these older cars, and as someone who is still new on the scene here, its nice to have that community to turn too.

For anyone visiting Dave’s page and looking at this visitor message, just know Dave is the real deal. He got in contact with me through one of my posts and took the time to discuss my issue personally. He’s knowledgeable and friendly! I’m working to restore full functionality of my factory vacuum system, and Dave was the missing piece!

    Thanks again.

    Dave,
Please send my your email address. I have a photo I want to send to you.
I have the wiper arm vacuum switch installed. The wiper arm itself doesn't contact the pad, the steel piece that operates the arm does. I want to pass the photo by you. I have 1/16" free play between the arm mechanism and the plunger with the wiper parked. This should work, but not stress the switch.
