    Retired as CMSgt after 30 years service. Worked for GE Aircraft Engines. Later worked in the Gunship and Combat Talon Program Offices as Senior Logistician. Currently doing my best to stay ahead of my kids at HPDE.

    Thanks for the reply! My other vehicle is a Nissan and I have been dealing with the same service writer since '99, so I know exactly what you are talking about with regard to the relationship.

    As luck would have it, my letter from GM just arrived today. I've only had my Vette since June, but I may contact the service writer at the Chevy dealership that I've worked with and see what his thoughts are on getting this addressed before I actually experience the issue.
