- Bot this car in 1987 from a navy submariner down on his luck. Had been in a minor front end accident. Picked up two motors & traded him my POS truck. Now I had two 79s one with 2 L82 motors. Had a bubba down in Alabama work over the motor. Brought the car home to FLA and left it there while I served in Germany/Iraq/Kuwait/Saudi. Came back to a roach hotel! Car was completely infested. Cleaned what I could, bombed it and drove it to Ga and then shipped to WA. Kids kept the car on the bloc
