I really like how you did the engine compartment. I noticed that the silver paint on the intake manifold is shinny silver. What type of paint/manufacturer is this? Want to paint mine but can only find dull aluminium in flat or gloss. I have a 1980 & in the process of redoing the engine compartment.

Hey Mark. I bought it from Ecklers. It's a 78-79 pace car spoiler. It's real easy to install and comes with directions to measure and drill holes. You'll love it!!! . . . Lane

Hi love your Vette, just wondering where you got the reat spoiler from , I have a 79 Vette and would like a rear spoiler , yours seems to suit the car well

No, I haven't been on much lately. We are down a bunch of people at work and I have been spending most of my time working, eating and sleeping. I have only had my car out a handfull of times this year. I'm having some distributor problems, and I've had a new GM Performance Parts distributor sitting on the dining room table for 3 months now! Just haven't had the time to drop it in. I'll get it done before the spring and you will see me out. You can bet on that.
My back is doing OK. Not 100%, but I'm getting by OK. Sorry to hear you're having problems now. Ya gotta watch it. It'll get you before you know it.
The main news is, November 18th, 6:35am, I had ANOTHER wreck!!! (In my work van again!) Some kid pulled straight out in front of me, and there was nothing I could do. Another new van totaled, and again, no fault of mine. Gheesh, what luck I have, huh? The good thing is that no one was hurt very badly, and I wasn't in the 'Vette! lol
Sounds like you baby is gonna be SWEET come spring. If we end up at the same events...you have to park yours at least 10 spaces away from mine. No making me look bad!!!
