I read your post opn the electrical problem thread, and I am there. I have a 2001 and I have gone through the same exact problems. I took it to a dealer and they wanted to go under the dash and new they just had no clue, so I have been trying to self diagnose for some time. Lately, I haven't gotten the problem at all, but it left some effects in its wrath; namely, no display for my a/c, my hud gas gauge doesn't read right, my hud always has a oil light, and the oil psi on my cluster is always maxed out. Did you see any of this? And, have you resolved any of your problems? Thanks a lot!!
