Shane, hope you're clear of the flooding. Someday your weather will even out. There has to be something besides drought and flood.

that all sounds good including a thai gf I imagine it wouldnt be too much to fly back for a visit if you missed it . There would be plenty of good riding around perth, down to the breweries at fremantle and going further to bunbury..big open roads.
yep thats my gf and soon to be wife so thats the end of my life as we know it. there is a video of her on here somewhere being a bit cheeky. Sounds like your into all the good stuff and sailing certainly grabs my attention , well anything around the water does i guess.
I love my black vet and your right the colour really looks good especially at dusk . It is a nuisance to keep clean as they say but nothing compares to it when it is . We are chalk and cheese as you would like to go black but when i was searching i really wanted a 70-72 but never found "the one" so settled on the 81. has yours been good?

Oh and by the way that is a sweet ride you have. I really like C3's in Black. If black was a color for 71 ... mine would be getting repainted black. Is that the girlfriend?

Gingerbreadman, I will be working onshore to support offshore operations. I doubt I will buy or bring a "real" car to Perth; but I will look at buying a decent bike if the riding is ok. Most likely I will look for a used Ducati Monster. I hear it is a nice city, I have a few friends there, but alas they are all married types. I am still single; although I could be tempted to bring my Thai girlfriend. I would like to take up sailing again so .... I am seriously considering the move. Thailand is nice, but after two years it is starting to wear thin ...

    Thanks Chris

Hi Gingerbreadman, I have been offered a job in Perth. How is the city, do you know? It would be for a few years so I would need a nice car of some sort to tinker with.

Hi, I was looking on the forum and saw a picture of your engine with some nice looking wire looms on it. If it's not a problem could you let me know what brand they are? I'm currently rebuilding my engine and adding headers and would really like to organize my wires like yours. BTW you have a great avatar, very cute girl and nice car! Thanks, Paul

was that your car I saw in Ballina, NSW last june? It was parked on main street. My wife is from Ballina and we were over there visting her parents. Was a great oppertunity to show and explaine to her 24 yo son about vettes, as it was the first time he had seen one...yes he lives there or up towards Brisbane. Dang, I have to drive into Canada to buy the misses crumpets,lol...vegemite is expensive here but keeps her happy so well worth it. If I ever meet you I will give the first shout.
