Hi Panos. The ticking is normal. These motors sound like a sewing machine normally and when you replace the cast exhaust manifolds with thin walled headers the noise is amplified. You probably have two codes. P0420 and P0430 which are cat inefficiency on bank one (left side), and the second for bank two(right side). You can drive it for as long as you want like that but you will have to tune out the rear sensors to keep the light from coming back on. It is just a nuisance and will cause you NO problems other than the engine light. I have LS2Edit and I disabled the rear o2 sensors myself in about 5 mins. You can run it for as long as you want with no problem. All turning off the rear o2's does is disable the CEL for those 2 codes.
I re-torqued my headers 3 times after running and made sure all the clamps were tight underneath. I have no leaks anywhere and am pretty happy with the headers for the price.
Nice to hear from you again!
