- I got the car in 1976, as an extra rough driver. After 30 years of using it as a shelf in the garage I finally came up with the money and time to do a frame on self restoration, so I could enjoy not only thinking about it , but driving it. 2017 UPDATE. Finished a fast Frame off freshen up with a new to me rust free OE chassis, engine, and transmission rebuild, and odds and ends. A nice driver finally; and it only took 40 years.
