You are the man! Thank you again for the explanation & pics re the parking brake cable/handle attachment! Mine was inoperative and when I checked sure enough, the cable had enough slack to slip out of that slot. Since my seat was out (seat bottom (black leather separated at seam & cracked...looking for just 1 bottom cover [I know, good luck with that ], it was an easy fix.

thanks for the precise description of how to do it...your thoughtful and will insure I get it correct...the first time as wiring is not at the top of my experience....

the pertronix distributor ( stock GM converted)had 2 wires one red to the + side of coil...and one blk - going to neg side of coil....there may be only one wire from the new distributor...when I get the new re worked distributor back ...can I contact you for a final check before I begin to hook up the wires?
