- I bought the car in 1965 when I was 18 from a chevy dealer in New Orleans for $2050.00. It was my driver for about 2 1/2 years. I raced it in stock elimnator in 1971 then parked it until 1995 when I started the restoration. It currently has 35,000 miles and I drive it as much as I can. #14531 makes it the last c-1 built.
