    Hi Art,

Yeah as you've probably guessed, I like Roman Red too. As an FYI, it was used from 59-62. I won't be at Chin next week. I don't race, though I use to autocross (with the 62 in my avatar, and other cars), but that was years ago. I crew on a 65 Corvette vintage racer, and we run The Glen, 3 or 4 times a year. I do love going to The Glen, and have since my first trip on my 15th birthday, when I went for the 1969 Trans-Am. In the 80's, I crewed for a Trans-Am team, and gave up the autocrossing. I'd love to run up there next week, but we'll be at Lime Rock on the 20th, for a test day with the 65.

    Glenn

    Caddyvette,
I just now logged on and found your message. As you may know, VIN numbers up to 600 with certain options are held for "audit". I don't know how many cars this includes, but quite a few. Some are being attended to at BG and some are sent to Nashville. Two very high level contacts in GM/Corvette told me that my car was sent to Nashville and no information on further status. So, depending on many factors such as options, delivery point and what work, if any, needs to be done our cars are likely on very different paths before they get to us despite sequential numbers. My car is also Museum delivery so sending to Nashville is really inefficient, but all this is controlled by computers so logic may not be part of the equation. Good luck, I hope you get your car soon!!
