    I've gone through 2 batteries now and niether time has it went in to reduced power mode, the car should run fine with the battery totally disconnected, I would test the alternator as well. You could have a cell or two going bad in the battery and a low charging voltage issue...

    I have an 08 that the battery has just gone dead for the 4th time. Happens when the car sits for more than a week. This time I put the charger on it and it started ok but now its in reduced power mode and all my warning lights are coming on. Is there away to reset this ??? has to be from the battery issue I would assume !
