I had all ready had a cam installed. So they only switched the cam. No springs or other items. Get quotes from other shops and if they are cheaper then you can see if Shawn can do it cheaper. That price should be for everything I'd guess.

Owing to your positive experience and those of others on CF, I have decided to take my car to Lethal Racing for a Phantom Cam and tune. I plan to have them install some other things on the car while it is apart, namely a Dewitts radiator (with integral oil cooler) and a LPE 9 quart oil sump tank. Mine is a 2008 model so it has the smaller oil sump tank. I will also have an aftermarket air intake installed. Shown wants to install a Honker.

i just had my heads and all valves replaced with new ones courtesy of Mr Goodwrench, so I am set to go there. I am not planning to run tube headers.

I talked with Shawn yesterday about the work and he told me I was looking at about $2400 for the cam and $550 for the Honker. I am assuming that the $2400 was for the cam + tune, but that still sounds pretty high to me. I was expecting more like $1800 to $2000 for the cam and tune. Do you mind telling me what you paid for your cam and tune?
