    NCRS Records Search indicate: This '64 Corvette number 00068 was made on the first day of production, Sept.1, 1963, purchased by GM of Canada Show Car Account and one of the first two cars delivered to Canada on Sept. 19, 1963. The other was a red/red coupe. Both cars were used in promotional activities at Canadian dealerships and shows. Individual owners other than the last two are unknown.

    Maybe you have already read posts "63-340 Jerky" page 2 explains Gm bulletin and changes to our early carbs. Had mine rebuilt by Daytona Parts, and he said it had the wrong metering rods installed, and he replaced with what specs called for.

    Car idles great and revs fine, but under load I have a hesitation off idle, that I find annoying. This post shows parts the were changed to probably come in line with the November 26th date. Kind of validates our early carburetors also.

    Thanks form suggestions on 1966 headlight rotation problem. You were right on. The main drive gear was stripped and the housing grease was dry. The motor did bench test OK.removing the hood helped much.

    i HIGHLY recommend this type of tailight rather than just the bulb. they are VERY bright.
