Many hot street cars over the years. Converted Holley carbs to run on alcohol for several years. Pretty much a gear head. Like anything with an engine in it. Yes, 36 is a great road to drive. First time I saw the grill accent was on a silver Z06 and the guy had just taken chrome door edging and glued on the vertical bars. I tried the same on my silver 08 that I had. I wanted something less shiny and more durable. The edging would dent if hit by anything. So when I bought my Callaway I decided to do it right and found some tubing at the hardware store. It's much more durable and not shiny like chrome. Kind of gives it the look of having an adjustable splitter with the rods running from body to splitter. Merry Christmas. :-)

Hey, fellow midwesterner, my daughter lives near Boulder so I've driven my vette out there several times already. US36 is a great road with no traffic. No rest stops either though. Thanks for the grille accent info. May do something similar. It's "just enough".

Wow, you are a busy man and wedding are "expensive" man so I understand what you are saying. Yep, I'm enjoying the car, have over 8k miles on it already. Pete bought a 2013 Cyber Gray GS. Take care buddy and good luck with the wedding and hopefully a relaxing vacation after. :-)

    Hi Steve,
Man I guess I'm jinxed , all of my plans have been put on hold.I just moved my oldest Daughter back home from Indy and my youngest Daughter is getting married around the time of the Fun Fest.I was informed by my Bride that just as soon as the wedding was over I am to take her to Florida for a week of recuperation .I haven't had the time or money to do anything with all this going on much less do any Vette related outings.
How's the New Vette ? I know you are enjoying it ,has Pete got the FEVER for one yet ? Tim's still Vetteless and it's killing him.But he's got access to a friends 66 C2 right now so that helps.
    Steve
