John, thanks for sending the instructions to remove the check valve on the master cylinder when I install front discs in my '60. The check valve with the holes in it at the end of the spring just before the end cap is metal. The only thing that is rubber at that end of the cylinder is called the valve seat (5-3, figure 2). What am I missing? Bud

Plasticman, what size are the Torque Thrust wheels on your 61?

I'm about to buy a set for my dad for Christmas for his 62' and not a lot of info out there is a 15x7, 3.75 BS is correct. Thanks for any info!

I just wanted to say Hello. My husband & I live in Chiefland, Florida during the winter months. My mother used to live in Beverly Hills for 6 years, and my sister lives in Homossassa (she has a friend that lives in "Black Diamond," close by you. My sister, Angie, was the PostMaster in Holder for 20 yrs. (retired now).

We own a 1961 Jewel Blue convertable with a hard top also (it is here in Wheeler, MI) have been working on it for 6 summers (hope this is the last.) I read your post when I was searching soft top installation help. We bought the top from Al Knoch and will get his video now that we are ready to install--yes we are doing it ourselves with my son's help.

Next year we will start restoring our '58 (haven't decided on color, but my husband would love a beige top--yours looks very nice!). We will bring one vette to Florida for fun!

    We enjoyed your web page.
