I had the dash pulled out on my 2002 and changed the Hud switch and Hud bezel. Made sure all the connections were clean and tight on the projector. Wasted my time and money. I only have 42K miles and I see many people have a lot less miles and still have HUD problems. It has to be in the projector. GM should have a recall on these units because of all the problems everyone is having. Sometimes it goes out completely and sometimes it just flicker and it doesn't matter if you are driving or just starting it up in the garage for a few minutes. I did notice if it comes on real bright, it stays on for a while and if it comes on not so bright, it definately is going out and it can come on or go out at any time. GM didn't do a good job on these projector and I see that the c6's are also having problems.There should be a recall on these units. They will keep their garage mechanics busy for a long time to come.
