I've been "into" cars since I was in high school. First out of necessity - didn't have enough money for a decent car and didn't have the money to pay someone else to fix the junkers I was forced to drive, so did repairs myself, back when all you needed to know was how to turn a bolt. I've since enjoyed various versions of fun cars from old mustangs on up to the most recent 'vette. I'm having a blast making my shiny new vette unique and my own. I still shock some of the girls I ride horses with when I tell them how to fix something on their horse trailer or pull out the lug wrench to change a tire. I was raised as a very independent person and I guess I'm not your typical "girl", I love to fish, hike, and LOVE to mess with cars. My husband is completely puzzled by the whole car thing, but knows his tolerance of my activities is a condition of his happiness LOL I own my own business to support my habits and am at a stage in my life when I can enjoy them the way I've always wanted to.
