    Hi Greg,

    I understand you're the C5 audio expert.
I want to upgrade my original system, perhaps AMP and speakers, to a great system without spending a fortune. I want to retain the original system look.
    What would you recommend?

    Greg,

I had my stepson, an ASE toyota mechanic install my kenwood head unit, JL speakers/sub and amp. I am afraid that he did not do a quality job on the wiring and wonder if I could ask you to check it out and fix the mistakes. I can drive over to Palatine to show you the pis poor wiring job. Of course, I will pay you for your time and expertise. My phone number is 847-502-0088. Thanks is advance!

you mentioned to me in a message that you had some information on splicing a MP3 port into the wiring of either the CD or Cassette mechanism of the radio. Did you ever find that data? I would like to try that. Is it as simple as just locating the correct wires, then soldering a splice into them going to the connector? Billy
