The engine block is one I installed in 1971. It was a 1970 ½ 350 LT1/370 HP engine. The LT1 is now bored .20 over to 355ci. New Keith Black 10.4 to 1 compression pistons, Elgin Lifters, Roller Rockers, 350/350 cam, 2.02 heads, 245 lb springs, bronze valve guides, alloy seats. Hines balan - Biography
- Back in New York, one summer in 1969, I became the proud third owner of this 1959 Corvette. I was 18 years old. I had just graduated from high school and was working for a paper mill back East. A friend of mine had a 1958 Corvette and I fell in love with it. I kept after him until one day we drove to Syracuse New York in pursuit of the perfect one for me. We found this Corvette along with a 1958, a 1956, 1957 and a 1953. Well this one was in the best shape and at $1350.00 seemed like a good deal
