    ruby76, I finally found out possibly why our cars are swerving upon acceleration. It's due to the posi unit "clutches" being worn out abnormally. I'm getting this theory looked into by a very reliable Corvette differential guy, and am getting the word back in the next day or two. If you still have the problem, let me know and I'll let you k now what I discover. Finally thsi makes sense to me, and to think I had the info right here in my GM '81 Corvette Shop Manual. If you have the manual, it's on the end of page 4B-3 (REAR AXLE Chapter, last paragraph-about 2/3rds of the way down.) Sincerely, Jimmy.
