    Bob,
    Kind of a long story...My regimental affiliation was with the 11th ACR, my dad was the CSM of the 2nd Squadron in BK during the same time frame that you were in Fulda. I unfortunatly spent all my time in the 1st and 2nd Squadron of the 17th Cav. My mom is German and I enlisted with a green card (was a German citizen) so no assignment to Germany. I tried like hell to get back but was never successful. Never changed the regimental affiliation as the 11th ACR had a lot of history with my family. My greatest regret was never getting back to Germany, never thought the Army would make it such a pain in the Butt to do. I retired in 2003 and now teach High School JROTC.
