Rubber gaskets I purchased in the plumbing department at Lowes. I bought about a dozen of them and cut them/trimmed them until they fit perfectly. I then cut 3 matching gaskets and superglued them together after wrapping them around the hoops. Toughest part was holding the gasket together while the glue bonded. I made sure the seam is in the back, however you can't see it unless I point it out. I also did a bad job cutting my carpet. I may someday purchase another section of black carpet and then have a pro auto upholstery shop make the cuts.
