    Thanks you Moosie. Yep that's a rubber rat on the 65's hood. Found it at a flea market a few years ago. I'm glad too our son loves Corvettes too. He's like me, can't get rid of the things we love.

    You have 2 nice looking cars yourself.

    Moosie, That 500.. if it came out of a early 70's Coupe Deville is lower on HP.. but is bullet proof. The turbo 400 and that motor are beasts.
    If it came out of a 71 or 72.. the power will be SWEET! It's heavy... but man... that car is automatically a hotrod!!! Later detuned 500's can be made better... by removing the smog equipment and changing cams... leaving it alone is also a good thing!
