    Hi Lotsacubes,

Pipes are still like new. I would buy them again. They flow very well. I took advantage of my 52 year old '461 heads that needed this type of exhaust since these breathed on heads flow almost as well as AFR's.

Think I read this week where Sweet Thunder was bought out by someone

Jim, my modernized L72 is now really breathing. So want less restrictive side pipes. Looks like 3 choices: Allen, Classic, and Sweet thunder. Sweet thunders website at least is more informative than the other two. How was their quality. BTW, I trust in God also. Thx

Jim - I got your name from Jeff at Kiesler. Understand that you have SS700 in stalled in your car. Anything that you can tell me about the quality, shift response/feel, leaks, install problems? Seriously considering this unit for a 76 Vet I am strarting on this fall. It will be married to a 383.

    Paul,

Yes, it is a Stayfast top. I would never go back to vinyl. REALLY a more classic look I think. I haven't folded the top down yet as the installer just finished with this top (top #3 ). Previous 2 installs did not fit well (real blousy on the sides). He finally hit a home run with this 3rd one. I don't anticipate much, if any, diminished room with the top folded down.

    Go for it!

    Regards,

    Jim

Hi Jim - Paul Marentette, up here in Toronto.
I noticed in your pic that it looks like you have a Sta-fast convertible top. I'm thinking of replacing mine with that instead of another vinyl. Can you tell me if you think it's worth the additional cost and also (most important) does it pack as tightly or being thicker (I think) take up more room in the back when stowed?

Like our friend Jackfit we travel a lot and storage space back there (specially with two) is at a premium!

    Thanks Jim.
