    Hi Troy,
I am fairly new to this site and recently upgraded to a lifetime supporting membership. I love how helpful this site has been in my corvette hobby and look forward to the daily posts. I purchased my first vette a few months ago and this site is so extremely helpful in so many ways. Just wanted to send a thumbs up your way, as I see you are a founder. Thanks again and be well!

    - regards, steve

I’ve made a couple of posts on the Corvette Forum questioning the forums current Carfax policy. Moderators have deleted my posts because they say a request to run a free Carfax report violates forum policy and/or that my posts are bashing moderators. When I post a thread inviting an open discussion suggesting we discuss the current Carfax policy, as stated in a ’06 Sticky, they delete my post and PM me not to repost my question or their maybe consequences. I though the forum by definition was intended to invite free and open discussion and as long as it isn’t offensive, I think the moderators are over stepping their bounds. None of my threads said anything derogatory about a moderator, only stated the current policy and invited open discussion. It my impression that the policy needs to be updated to reflect Carfax’s current procedures, Carfax no longer offers unlimited reports for 6 months, people were known to run them for others for what may have been perceived as free reports. Carfax now has a set price for 5 reports in 60 days, and an individual can decide how to use their 5 reports as long as they don’t violate Carfax policy by selling them or using them for commercial use. Carfax has changed heir policy the forum doesn’t need to police itself. Also forum monitors are not the forum police, as they like to refer to themselves, they need to allow open discussion that doesn’t hurt anyone. And a Sticky posted by 1 member is not a rule, it maybe used to explain a rule, this is a democracy or so I thought.

I'm not sure who to go with this, but 30 minutes ago I opened this site on my browser, and within 10 minutes, my browser crashed. When I came back, I was on the site, but I received an official looking notice that I had been banned, forever. I then noticed that I was not logged on with my user id (teeceemv). I closed the browser, and re-logged on with my login credentials. I did not receive the "banned message" this time, so here I am. Clearly, I am the victim of a virus from this site, and I am not sure what other damage it may be doing or has done. Is there any way to trace this activity?
