This post needs to be moved to the C4 Tech section.

If it's intermittent it could be in your optispark. I had corrosion in the wire connector that plugged into the opti. It got so bad that one of the pins corroded off and it died completely. If it is corrosion you're going to have to replace both the opti and the wiring harness. I finally broke down and got a dynaspark. It's a modified opti that is sealed at that connection, among other improvements.

Bobby,

Your problem is going to take some diagnostics. The statement by R94LT1 could be correct. The first thing you need to do is find out if you have a fuel problem or a spark problem. Depending on what you find you need to go thru certain steps to find out exactly what the problem is. If you do not have the technical expertise I suggest you have a GOOD technician look at it. The parts for this car are too expensive to guess at, you want to be sure. If you don't know of any mechanic in your area who is competent on a Vette I suggest you talk to someone in your local Corvette Club as they should know of some.
Good Luck,

Bob
