Ken, have you heard anything from GM regarding their MY 09 red tag incentive? It was supposedly announced today, 11-18 to help clear out certain 09 vehicles.

Best as I know it's legit.

2009 Models
EVERY New Chevrolet except for ZR1: 0% for 72 months to well qualified buyers
or
Customer Cash + Bonus Cash + Rebate in lieu of 60 day guarantee + Dealer Inventory Overage Cash UP TO $6000 total on specific vehicles

In the case of a Corvette you have a choice of:
0% for 12 to 72 months + $500 Rebate in lieu of 60 day guarantee
or
$4000 Customer Cash + $500 Rebate in lieu of 60 day guarantee

Your absolutely correct. Posted the question to you since I knew you'd come thru with accurate, reliable answer, and you did.

BTW, contacted at least 5 nearby dealers yesterday and not a one provided an answer as well as yours. Caddy, Chevy & Buick were brands contacted.
