For all of you that have 2005 C6's with ISD of late May and June-Remember it is cheaper to buy the GMPP when your car is under 12 months and 12K. If any of you are in this situation and haven't yet received a quote from me please email me your VIN and current miles to gmpp@fichtnerchevrolet.com and I will fire you back an email immediately with your quote.
Also if you have any vehicle that is still under the 12-12 I can do it also. I do every vehicle and not just Vette's. So if you wife has a Tahoe, Suburban, Impala, etc I can do them also.
I have Ken's one and only 2006 Z06 delivered. Needless to say I am under the 12/12 but would like to buy the extended warranty as late as possible but before there is a general price increase. My understanding is that price increases generally happen Oct 1st each year. If so, I will be contacting you prior to that time. Any comment??
You are correct, October 1st is the day. Rumblings heard are that the Z06 is going to have a new symbol after then which naturally means a price increase by changing the symbol. Can't verify this but have heard this. Just got back from my GMPP trip and many of the F & I people I spoke with said this same thing but until we see it in print or hear from the GMPP people we will continue to sell them as a Symbol 5 car (same as the normal Vette). I guess any Z06 owner out there should maybe purchase this now and save a lot of money.
You lucky guy, I had #2 Z06 sold to a customer of mine from my old home town and needless to say we never got it. Fortunately he hung with me and is getting the first 07.
Thanks Dennis. I will be in touch later in the year.
The co-worker who bought my 01Z06 will contact you in early July about extending the current GMPP I had on the car. I told him he had to extend at least 3 months and 3000 miles ahead of the expiration which is Oct 25th.

Here is a little testimonial for anyone considering the protection plan. On my first outing this year, over Memorial Day weekend, my 2003 with only 8000 miles just died approximately 70 miles from home. To make a long story short, I was two months over the initial three year warrantee and the fuel pump went out. The repair would have cost approximately $1000 according to the dealer. I did have to pay my $100deductable plus some towing, but that was better than the whole amount.
Speaking of the deductable, does anyone feel I would have a chance of getting that reimbursed because of the low mileage?
BTW, thanks to Dennis for the ease in purchasing the protection plan.
