Default Latest on C5 rearview mirror with compass?

Ken or Bob,

Gentlemen, what is the latest on getting an autodimming mirror with the compass built in for the C5? I believe you were working on getting one from the SSR, but were having some trouble getting a wiring harness from GM. Could you give us an update? I am tired of my C5 being the only one of my three GM vehicles without the compass.

Thanks again,
Craig

Regretfully we have struck out with GM. The last word I had is they are NOT going to release the connector needed to adapt the mirror to your car. I have tried every aftermarket electrical source we can find and no luck there either. Right now GM and Packard Electric have us by the ____ and they know it.

If I ever get better news I will definitely post it out here.

Bob
