Is their a Z 4 me?

Dear Ken, Would you know if a dealer has an allocation or not? Is there a way to know for sure. He says he does, but thats all I can get out of him. Along with goofy questions like, do I want a 2007? Gm isnt telling us a thing! we have 3 allotments but cant help you, etc. etc. etc. Does this sound right to you? I don't bug the guy for a good reason (I want the Z06 order # JTRCDK) Any help you could give will be blessing for me and a GMPP sale for you. Whatever you can do, THANKS Joe

Here's a little heads up that goes especially for the ZO6. Some of the dealers are holding out for bids above sticker msrp. If you don't believe this call down to the Miami area. My advice, don't play that game. Go ahead and order next year after the BIG DOLLAR customers get theirs first. I went thru this same thing when I ordered my C6 coup. I inquired face to face, and ordered from another larger dealer 100 miles up the road. Try around May. A lot of people don't want to order that late. I got mine in 6 weeks The factory in Bowling Green can build only so many ZO6's as the run down the same line as the Coups. To make matters worse. You have alot of folks jumping on the band wagon and just gotta have a C6, ZO6. I would say; cool your jets, you don't gotta be first in your neighborhood. This is how GM keeps the price up; by limiting production. I did hear a rumor about a second corvette plant to be over by St Louis somewhere.

Wrong> if you read the post from Ken re: allocations for 07Z's they will be few and far between. People will be paying over sticker for a while if they want a car. I laugh when people are @ # 300-400 on a dealers msrp list for 1-2 yrs w/no cars, and applauding the dealer that sells at msrp but cant deliver the car b/c too much demand and not enough product. Please, if you are spending 72k whats another 3-5k over to get the car. Not b/c you have to have it but b/c if you dont you'll probably not see one. I dare you to call all chevy dealers and ask for msrp give deposit and see if you get a car next year. I spent 5k over and my car will be here n/w. I am in no way condoning this behavior from dealers but you have to pay to play. I wonder how much interest all the dealers have made holding all these deposits for cars people will never see?
