Default Ken: What does EXPIRATION OF IN TRANSIT mean???

Ken,

Stopped by my dealer yesterday to get an update of where my order is. I know it was produced on Wed 3/22. He told me that it had an "expiration of in transit" for April 2. Does that mean it leaves BG by then or it should arrive at delaer no later than that date? Thanks in advance....(JWVCTS)

The invoice that a dealer receives has an expiration of intransit date on it. This is the date based upon past history that a dealer can expect a vehicle to arrive at the dealership. It is on that date that the dealer begins to pay floor plan interest.

Have a great weekend,

Great. I guess that means I will have it one day next week. That would be nice.
