Bob,
I just wanted to let you know the Z51 sway bars and bushings was delivered today. This completes my list of the parts and accessories on my order. Thanks for the great service and prices, especially the special deal you offered me on the Lloyd's cargo mat.
When I was in the beginning stages of acquiring these parts, I had figured I would probably end up getting from Fred Beans according to what I had heard on the CorvetteForum. After I had the shopping list complete, I sent it to Fred Beans as well as you folks for a quote. My assumption was that Beans would probably end up getting the order and quote from Fichtner would be more of a measuring stick to gauge the prices from Beans against. When I got the quotes back from the both of you and made the comparisons, the price on every item that I got from Beans was a little lower than yours. There are two points though that made my decision to place the order with Fichtner. The first, least important factor was that Beans did not have all of the parts on the list. Of those parts the cargo mat was not big surprise, since it's not a GM product, but the one item that did surprise me was the Cargo Organizer, especially since it is a GM product. That was a little disappointing. The second factor that really made the decision for me was that every item on my list (with exception of the sway bars) was available to ship immediately from stock and Fred Beans did not have any of the parts in stock and would require up to a week to get the parts in so they could be shipped out. So in short, having the parts in stock and being a single source to fill the order completely, was why I gave you folks the order even though Fred Beans had a little better prices. Just thought you may want to know what drove my decision in case these things are looked at when you folks are making your decisions on your marketing strategies.
Thanks,
