Ken, when is the earliest dealers will be able to place orders for 2007 C6s with the plant?

Don't forget, your dealer needs to assign one of his precious allocations to you, or the order means nothing.

2006 Model Year
Final allocations published for dealers to view on May 17, 2006
Final production date is June 26, 2006

2007 Model Year
Dealers may begin submitting orders on June 1, 2006
Production will begin on June 27, 2006

Ken, along those lines - have there been any announced or unannounced rumored changes to the line (especially the Z06), I'm wondering if it makes sense to hold off?

Can anyone give me an answer on this one? My question is, "Does the side impact airbag protect the torso or is this also a head protection system?"

I have not seen any illustrations on the side impact airbag for the C-6 Coupes, and the answers from local dealers sound like a quote from what an automobile salesman should never say. (Bottom-line is that they do not know how high up the side airbag extends.)

I would like to be around for a long time and IF I would get t-boned I would like to be around to buy another Corvette.
