Default GMPP Question on Clear Top

I got GMPP from Dennis a while back and was wondering if it will cover the top coating flaking off the clear top?

Anyone have any experience or info?

Thanks.

I am positive in my response to your question, unfortunately not covered. Call 800-631-5590 and talk to GMPP just to verify.

are you not still in factory warrenty?

I would think that GM would do a goodwill fix on it, as long as u havent had it for too long

Thanks, Dennis, I think you're correct but I will give 'em a call, just to be sure.

Jimspeed -The car is an 02, 42k miles, long out of factory warranty.

Got somethin' more important to worry about anyway: it's throwing a P0420 code. Guess the dealer will have to determine whether it's a bad 02 sensor or if the cat is shot. The cat is covered under the federal emissions warranty, if I read it correctly, as are the diagnostics. We shall see.

Thanks for the responses!!

Why wouldn't the top be covered? I thought the basic 36/36 is bumper to bumper, except for normal wear and tear items.

Naturally, mine started flaking after I was out of the new car warranty.
