Default Corvette Production Weekly Constraints – 2/2/06

This information will also be included in my weekly newsletter under the topic, Kens Newsletters.

Weekly Constraint/Production News - UPDATED

Constraints are distributed based on Available Days’ Supply (ADS), Controlled Method or Percent of Allocation (POA). Dealers can use the weekly constraint wire to see the basic availability of an option. The percentages on the weekly constraint wire are estimated based on the national retail number of the constrained option divided by the amount of retail orders being allocated for the week.

Chevrolet Constraint Wire for 2/2/06

2006 CORVETTE

01145, QX3 Chromed Wheels, 0

Orders approved this week will be produced the week of 2/27/06 – 3/5/06

2006 CORVETTE Z06

This option is being constrained based upon supplier capacity.

Orders approved this week will be produced the week of 2/27/06 – 3/5/06

My dealer just called to say my order was accepted and no constraints on the Z51 package. Is it me or does it seem like GM is producing all the Z51's folks want?

Now all I need is a TPW.

Tom

The number of orders submitted by dealers for customers is matching the number of orders that GM can produce with the Z51 option thus there is no constraint at this time. THIS CAN CHANGE AT ANYTIME!

Default constraints on polished wheels?

Ken,

There doesn't seem to be constraint on C6 Polished wheels lately. Are they past the supply problem?

If they do go on constraint (Kevin says my car is coming off the line on 2/13) will they automatically put the painted wheels on my car and reduct the price accordingly?

Ken

Do you have a estimate as to how many ZO6's, Coupes and Verts they have made so far?
