Default C6 Service Manual Availability

I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS

I just received a phone call from my contact at Helm. He just got out of a meeting with GM and was told Helm will now not even receive the manuals before June 1. This is the 5th delay from GM on the Corvette manuals and he is a frustrated as I am. This is not Helms fault, but GM's The problem is there is no-one for those of you wanting the manuals and us trying to get them for you to complain to. I have a call into my GM Parts rep to see if he can get me some information on who to contact. My contact had the impression that GM just didn't care since the manuals were available to dealers only on the GM web site they were under no rush or pressure to release the paper ones. I will post any updates as I get them.

The C6 manuals are not available on CD yet either. When they do get released it will cover all GM cars for the 2005 model year and is over $300.00 if it follows the same price as the 04 disc. Pretty pricy and as Helm has told me they don't sell many of the CD version.
