I have the GMPP. Sport Seat Driver side Premature wear?? Bob or Ken..help!

Ken Or Bob...My Sport seat driver side is in great condition, although there is a premature worn area on the left lower side of the driver seat. I just noticed yesterdat a hole approximately 1/8". Is this the BOLSTER location? In other words is this covered by my GMPP?

This is a repair under warranty only, and calls for replacement of the seat cover assembly.

Though Chevrolet/GM have recognized that there is the possibility of bolster wear on 1997-1999 Corvettes, said repair or replacement is not covered by the GM Protection Plan once the original 36 months have passed.

I would advise that you visit your local dealer for assistance. It's possible that they can call Chevrolet Customer Assistance and gain authorization for said repair/replacement from Chevrolet.
