Windbreak - Need to take off before top goes up?

Did I read a post by Bob correctly. The windbreak needs to be taken off when you put the top up?

Yes, that is my understanding as well. A friend of mine as one for his C5 and you have to remove his before you can raise the top.

That is what GM tells me. I personally have not even seen a C6 vert yet so can't verify it. It makes sense though that it would need to be removed.

Not so sure if you have to because I thought on the SSR you left the screen in place. Maybe the newer vehicles, as with the 05 Corvette, you dont have to remove the screen??? Not really sure and since I'm getting my vert. this weekend, I'm hoping you don't have to remove it if you don't want to; we'll see.
