WELCOME! Being a senior citizen, visibility has become an issue with all of my car purchases, particularly with Corvettes. The c8's are a refreshing improvement over previous models, I really like the roof mounted rearview cameras. I test drove a c8 1LT convertible and could not get out of it fast enough. With the convertible top down, gotta use the 'regular' mirror. Forget about it. 2LT is an absolute requirement IMHO. I need the nannies, like all the other stuff and anticipate recovering most of the (exorbitant) price on resale. Also, the 3LT'S apparently still have dash cracking issues. If you buy used, be sure to confirm that it is still under the 3/36 warranty, is eligible for the GM extended version, and that ALL OF THE REQUIRED TRANSMISSION SERVICES HAVE BEEN CORRECTL AND TIMELY DONE AND ARE REFLECTED ON THE VIS REPORT. GET A COPY OF THIS FROM YOUR SERVICE WRITER BEFORE YOU BUY. I UNDERSTAND THAT A NEW TRANS FOR A C8 NOW RUNS ABOUT 25K AND THAT WILL BE HEADED NORTH SOON.
