Newbie to the forum in South GA!
Hi, Im the proud owner of a 1985 Two-Tone C4.
It's light bronze / dark bronze exterior with brown interior.
Here's how I acquired it........A long time friend of mine bought this car in 1996 and has always promised me first choice if he decides to sell.
Well, it's been 18 years and he finally said he was ready. I just about fainted when he told me as I mentioned early it been 18 years!
I guess those long years and patience paid off......I've just about washed the paint off the car since I've had it for about 3 months now. It's very strong and will bark the second gear with authority easily.....It's an automatic with good tires all around. Anyway, more fun to come as I continue to tweak this and that on her....but I'm excited to own my first Corvette at 40 years old

OPTIMA Presents Corvette of the Week: Bronze Paint, Gold Soul
Here's a Corvette of the Week that exemplifies why Corvette fans are among the most passionate group of people on Earth. New forum member "JVH" from Georgia recently picked up this two-tone 1985 C4 in the classic light- and dark-bronze shades. Although JVH has owned this 'Vette only a few months, he's been involved in a love affair with this exact car for 18 years.
The fiberglass romance began in 1996 when a long-time friend of JVH's purchased this Corvette. Over those 18 years, the friend promised JVH first dibbs on the car when the time came to sell it.
When that time came about three months ago, JVH nearly fainted with excitement over finally getting the opportunity to acquire his dream car.

The story is that my Fathers fireman friend was a Corvette guy most of his life. In 1984 he was trading in his 1982 collectors edition at the dealership and decided on a trans am but a Corvette in the exact color combination as your vette grabbed his attention on the showroom floor and he couldn't resist. He brought it over to show my dad and I feasted my eyes on this car. I was 10 years old at the time. I was smitten ever since I was 10 and I have always loved this color combination. His had a bronze color interior. I have never seen a bronze leather in any other car since then. Its a beautiful car you have! Congratulations.
